The Design Process

Paige & Mia (8).jpg

+ The first step in creating a more functional & beautiful space for you is a 1-2 hour consultation, where we will get to know you, your project & lifestyle

+ We will meet at your space to discuss your goals, style, timeline, & budget

+ At the end of the meeting, we will take dimensions of the space & take inventory of any existing furniture & accessories

+ After the initial meeting, we develop design ideas & drawings

+ We will meet at our office for a 1-2 hour presentation that will include floor plans, sketches, selections of materials, finishes, & furniture

+ From there, we will finalize designs, make a project timeline & budget to create your dream vision!

Frequently Asked Questions

Why hire an interior designer?

Our job is to clearly communicate your vision and make it a reality. But were not just helping you design your space, were helping you connect to the people who can make it happen. Often, we are the point of contact between client, contractor, architect, painter, etc to help with those hard decisions and carry the job to completion. We make sure your voice is valued and heard throughout the entire process and make sure your needs and timelines are respected.

How do I prepare for my initial consultation?

Research inspirational photos to get a sense of your style and think about what colors, materials, and styles you gravitate towards. What is or isn’t working for your space? We want to make sure what we show you will best fit your needs and wants. Be sure to also think about your budget. This will help the first presentation go smoothly.

Is it worth the cost?

Yes! An interior designer can actually SAVE you money by referring reliable contractors, helping you avoid potential costly mistakes, and selecting products and materials that meet your budget and design requirements.

It depends on the scope of your project! With over 10 years of experience, we can give you a realistic estimate, but we also know that design is not linear. We will discuss your timelines and find out what works best for you, we want you to feel good about the process!
